Victoria
Synopsis
Two French singers, Stanislas and Jimmy, are visiting Quebec. They meet Louis, a young black person who proposes money in exchange for a tour across the country. The unlikely tour starts along with Victoria (Anna Karina), Louis’ boss, a mute and amnesic woman. The tour is studded with Jimmy’s sexual encounters with groupies, while Stanislas becomes increasingly fascinated with Victoria’s mysterious behavior. Stanislas falls in love with Pauline, who strangely resembles a young Victoria. As the musical road-movie unfolds, Victoria’s memory begins to return.
